At this last level of the courses we offer, pilots will already be able to fly much more independently. The radio will be with you but the instructor will guide you only when necessary. The goal at this stage is to get deeper knowledge on meteorology and the behavior of the glider during flight while constantly maintaining the highest possible safety level. Each flight is preceded by a briefing on the goals and tasks and, as during previous levels, at the end of the flying day the instructor holds another session to sum up the day and examine mistakes providing explanations and further knowledge. At the end of this level, the pilots will be possess sound judgement skills for the meteorological conditions and take off/landing sites on their own. Further, student pilots will be able to fly calm as well as stronger conditions, manage their first cross country flights and be able to gain much more altitude than before.
The licence you can obtain upon completing this last level and covering the FAI requirements of the course is Para Pro 3. It will allow you to independently practice paragliding in Bulgaria and abroad. From this stage on all you will need is your own equipment and as many flight hours as possible to become a very good pilot. You will already be one of 'the people from the sky'!
